Itinerary

Day by Day

Day 1EFI & Orinoco River Lodge

Start your journey with a flight from Bogotá to Inírida, where our team will welcome you at the airport. Enjoy a traditional indigenous lunch at the Resguardo Indígena el Paujil with stunning views of the Inírida River. Then, witness the spectacular convergence of the Guaviare and Inírida rivers before continuing 150 kilometers through the Fluvial Star, stopping briefly at Maviso where five rivers meet. By late afternoon, arrive at our Orinoco River Lodge, where you’ll be greeted with a refreshing drink and enjoy a welcome dinner and an introduction to our Natural Reserve.

Day 2Tuparro National Park

Start your day with an early breakfast on our terrace overlooking the Orinoco River. We’ll then embark on a safari across the savanna to the entrance of El Tuparro National Park, where you’ll enjoy a spectacular journey. Upon arrival at the lower part of the Tuparro River, we’ll navigate upstream, visiting indigenous communities along the way. Enjoy an open-air lunch amidst the savanna and refresh yourself in the crystal-clear waters of the Tuparro River. In the afternoon, we’ll return to the river’s mouth where it meets the Orinoco River. Here, you can walk on the rocks of the Orinoco River rapids, a truly magical place. After a demanding day of exploration, we’ll return to our lodge in the late afternoon to rest and enjoy a well-deserved dinner.

Day 3Return to Inirida

Start your day with a delicious breakfast. We’ll then engage in nature tourism activities, including a two-hour hike within the reserve, exploring some of its most incredible spots. At midday, we’ll enjoy lunch on our lodge’s terrace, with stunning views of the savanna. By 2 PM, we’ll begin our journey back, traveling 150 km upstream to Inírida, where we’ll rest before heading back to Bogotá the following day.

What are the payment policies?

Clients can reserve with a 40% deposit and have until 20 days before the travel date to complete the total balance. If flights are included in the package, the client must pay 100% of the flight cost at the time of booking. If the booking is made within 18 days of the travel date, full payment is required.
